the home of a former Bryn Mawr Math professor, and you would be sharing with one other house-sitter and two cats. Responsibilities include
mowing the lawn (quite large), watering outdoor potted plants, keeping
the house secure, and some cat feeding/litter box changing/letting in
and out, when other occupant is away. You pay a share of utilities.
Wireless internet access, washer and dryer, no air conditioning but

Mid-August/September room rentals for semester or year
Two large rooms are available (grad students preferred) for September, or early as the
last weeks of August, in a large comfortable house located In Penn Wynne, 15 minutes’ drive
time to campus (SEPTA is a short train ride and a 15 minute walk). The rent is $575, and $490 for the rooms, respectively. All utilities plus wifi are included. The newly renovated 3rd floor room is large enough for both a sitting/study area and a sleeping area. It is unfurnished, but simple furnishings (bed, desk, reading chair, lamps) are available. The second room is also quite large and is fully furnished. The kitchen, living room, breakfast room, dining room, laundry room and storage space are shared. Also, in the summer and fall months I have a huge vegetable garden in the backyard – a few friends and neighbors have rows. There is always a surplus of veggies to go around! A nice patio is right off the kitchen and it’s a great place for morning coffee. All is free to use and
friends and dinner parties are welcome. There is street parking. If allergies are an issue, I do have 3 kitties who are very sweet and loving (and my responsibility) .
