Furnished one-bedroom available this summer! The house is a spacious twin, complete with living room, dining room, big kitchen and backyard with picnic table & grill. The bedroom is one of two (plus a study) and has a futon (we’d put in a bed, though), a dresser, and a desk (which is in the study right now). Or, we could keep the desk in the study – we don’t use it so both rooms would be yours. Your choice! There is only one bathroom (with a dreamy clawfoot tub), so we’d have to share that. Laundry is in the basement.
We are looking for a student (prefer graduate & female-identified but open to all) to rent out this bedroom for the summer months of June-August. We both work full-time (work in education and sustainability, respectively) and will be out of the house from 8-5:30 Mon-Friday (if not later). Must be quiet, respectful, and clean. Queer home, so queer/GLBTQ safe/friendly.
Important note: we have two loveable cats! They are very affectionate and will warm up to you quickly. We keep the house very tidy so there is minimal cat hair around but probably not a good fit if you have allergies. No additional pets, please.
$650 utilities/internet included. 7 min walk to train (Narberth stop), close to cafes, bars, restaurants, and an awesome bookstore.

My husband and I are a retired Penn professor (him) and entrepreneur (me) living in Ardmore with our three charming dogs. We have done Hosts for Hospitals for years, and know we are comfortable having people in our home and they are comfortable with us. If you are looking for welcoming off-campus housing, we may be a good match.
You’ll have a furnished room and bathroom on our second floor. This means you’ll have a lot of privacy, since we live on the first floor. You’re welcome to use our kitchen and laundry room and to join us in the living room. We also have a large finished basement where you can spread out with recliners, your own frig, a small dining table and where have company with privacy. We have a delightful front porch, back porch, sunroom and a glorious back garden. We live on a quiet street across from the Haverford College nature trail and a 10 minute walk to Suburban Square and R-5 line. It’s a great, safe neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, walking trails and duck ponds. Street parking is out front.
$750 per month includes utilities and high speed internet. The opportunity to live with us — priceless.

Hi, I have 2 rooms available at Home Properties of Bryn Mawr available for the summer. (June – Mid August) Move in and move out date can be flexible.
This is walking distance to Bryn Mawr College and Villanova University (1 mile away). There are a lot of restaurant and stores nearby. All train stations and bus stops are 5-10 minutes away.
There are 2 bedrooms and 1 make-shift bedroom in the living room.
*Note: The make-shift one will be occupied from July onward. There is still a separate space for dining table.
The 2 main bedrooms are both available for the summer. The master bedroom are large enough for 2 people so if you and your fiend want to lower rent around this area that is an option. Otherwise you would have you own bedroom. There would be basic furniture for the room (table, chair, bed, drawer and walk-in closet). You are free to use kitchen wares. Due to size differences and the option of getting double room, the rent would vary, but it should be around $600 per person including electricity and internet (electricity is cap at $50 per month and I will charge extra if it is higher).
Price is negotiable and there are different options so please contact me for more details. My email is email@example.com
Seeking another incoming Post Bacc Pre-med or Grad student to rent a dog-friendly 2 bed/2 bath with me near the campus. If you’re interested, please reach out! I’m hoping to lock things down for a June 1 year long lease, signed by the end of April at the latest.
I am looking for ~800/month per person and have a few of the suggested apartments in mind.
If interested, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I currently live in Brooklyn where I work as a bicycle mechanic and a marketer for a startup. I’m a huge cyclists (which does mean a couple bikes in communal space, pending bedroom sizes!), and try to get out a couple times a week for a good multi-hour ride. If you like riding or are interested in getting started, I’d love to get some social rides going near campus! I also like hiking, camping, and general outdoorsy-stuff. I grew up in Hawaii I’m from Florida by way of Japan. In the past I lived in large communal and co-op spaces and keep a very tidy house (no shoes, roomba, good at dishes)… a bit of a neat freak but I like to think I’m casual about it.
I keep a pescetarian-ish household, and ideally would live with someone who does the same—was vegan for ages, but I eat seafood now. I might prep fish occasionally, but never have red meat and don’t cook with dairy. I’m happy to keep a vegan house if that’s your thing!
My dog is a senior pom—she’s very very chill and spends almost the whole day napping. I’m hoping for someone who will LOVE having an amazing pup around to pet, or has their own mild-mannered/chill dog. She’s great with other dogs as long as they are not too high-energy.
I have everything to furnish a kitchen, but not a living room.
